Understanding the Role of AP Ambassadors: AP Culture

Who are we?

The Denmark High School AP Ambassador program is comprised of ~33 current sophomores, juniors, and seniors. One freshman will be nominated by their AP Human Geography teacher in January of their freshman year prior to AP Night.

What do we do?

We aim to cultivate a culture of excellence both inside and outside of the classroom. We strive to increase AP participation and performance by encouraging AP studies and bringing a diverse group of students to the table to make sure all perspectives are heard. We give back to Denmark and the surrounding community through planning, organizing, and hosting events such as freshman orientation, career pathway night, AP Night, Spring Fling, and much more. 

Why do we do it?

We believe as AP Ambassadors we should be prepared to make an impact on the people and community we serve. The AP Ambassadors are constantly looking for ways to improve situations in every aspect of life and give back to their school and the community. Our AP Ambassadors are driven by a mindset of philanthropy; they gain great joy and fulfillment from helping those around them in any way that they can!
