This step can be completed at any time between January and April. Submit required documentation by April 24th 2026 to your college. NO supplemental documents will be submitted after April 24th 2026.
Application
- The best way to find the college application is to type in "College Name + Dual Enrollment Application".
- Each college will have their own individual application (if you are using common app, STOP NOW, follow first bullet).
- Each application will ask for TESTING, TRANSCRIPT and College Specific Information including but not limited to:
- Verification of Lawful Presence Documentation
- College Board Scores: AP Exam Scores

Accuplacer Tests are offered at the local technical college and must be scheduled with them.

Dual Enrollment Funding Application: Apply Here
To apply for Georgia’s Dual Enrollment funding program, after selecting "Apply Now," select the application based on the year you plan to participate.
Each academic year’s application is valid Summer semester or quarter, Fall semester or quarter, Winter quarter and Spring semester or quarter.
In February, the upcoming academic year application is released for terms beginning with Summer term.
All required information, including Social Security Number, must be in your GA Futures profile before you can submit a Dual Enrollment Funding application. If you do not have a Social Security Number, do not attempt to submit a GA Futures funding application. Once the Dual Enrollment application has been reviewed at the college, students will get notification from the college regarding funding or payment options.
This video is intended to help students apply for the Dual Enrollment funding program and show parents/guardians how to complete the online Dual Enrollment Parent Agreement.
You cannot meet with your counselor until this is complete.
Application Steps
- Once you have completed your portion of the application, your parent/guardian must electronically complete the Parent Participation Agreement section of your application.
- Provide your parent/guardian’s email address.
- Parent receives an email to complete the online acknowledgement, OR;
- Parent/guardian may visit DE Parent Agreement to electronically sign the agreement.
- Your eligible participating high school counselor/home study program official uses this form to fund your DE courses at the college.
- The eligible participating college then approves and funds the courses chosen by the student and counselor.

Course Funding with Counselor
Congratulations, you got into the school, you completed the funding app, you signed off on the intent form, now what? Meet with your counselor for funding & scheduling!

Register for your classes!
- Register early! The college is first come, first served.
- Registration must be completed by the first day of high school (each semester). No additional courses will be approved after these dates.
- Summer registration must be completed by the last day of high school.
- Failure to register for courses will disqualify students from participating in the program.
