Lindsay Carlson is a Professional School Counselor at Denmark High School. She has called Forsyth County home for over 20 years and is a proud alumna of South Forsyth High School. Lindsay earned both her B.S. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Counselor Education from Georgia Southern University.
With a background in leadership development, holistic wellness, yoga and mindfulness, Lindsay brings a grounded, whole-person approach to education and mental health. As a counselor in Forsyth County, she has led numerous SEL initiatives including school-wide curriculum design, canine-assisted therapy, “Movement & Mindfulness” and spearheads the Sources of Strength Program.
Outside of school, Lindsay is married to Russell and is a mom to a spirited two-year-old son. Whether she’s guiding students or raising her toddler, she brings humor, heart, and a deep belief in the power of showing up authentically.
